Welcome to Autumn! With it comes cooler weather, rain and darker mornings ..well that’s until DST ends this weekend and we get a little reprieve. A great aspect of this time of year is that it is much more conducive to treatments that target a deeper level of repair and rejuvenation. Without the harsh sunlight, needling and peels are much more effective and it is easier for you to manage the post treatment care to get an optimal result. If there is something about your skin you’d like to change, I am available for a complimentary consult to offer you some treatment options. This is includes signs of ageing, fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, any redness like rosacea and of course acne whether it be a young or more mature hormonal breakout or condition. I specialise both in teen as well as peri and post menopausal skin conditions and love to educate on ways you and your teen can manage these conditions effectively. I find it is often easier for a teen to take diet and self care advice from me than from mum. It is a great conversation to be having with your teen but can often be easier with some prior prepping from a therapist. Let me know if you or your teen would like a conversation about what would work for your skin.

It really can make such a difference to be able to “workshop” anything that is currently taking up way too much time in your mind and body, causing rumination and stress. If you feel a bit at a loss and you would like to explore if this is something that could help you, please reach out. I still have a few spots available. For those of you who are unsure, these are a few examples of what we can work on:

Physical, Mental and Emotional Wellness - This can be anything that is causing you angst or stress and you are finding it hard to manage. If it is a diagnosed medical issue this is of course done in conjunction with your medical practitioner. This can cover ways for you to better manage the effect it has on your mental and emotional health but also include suggestions for alternative ways to improve your health. This is however not medical advice. General wellness matters such as improving gut health, fitness, aesthetics including skin as well as how you respond emotionally and mentally to life matters are all part of this journey. You may just want better sleep or more energy, lose or gain some weight, or maybe just feel better in your self. Specific challenges such a major change or life choices can be examined to give you better strategies for making the best choices for you. Sometimes we just can’t see the forrest for the trees!!
